Middleway Method Somatic Educator
Jenny is a Michigan and Wisconsin Licensed and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and Bodyworker. In 2005, Jenny graduated from the University of Kansas with a double B.A. in Human Biology and Anthropology and a Minor Certificate in Religious Studies. In 2007, she completed a 700 hour Therapeutic Massage and Somatic Bodywork program at the Arcata School of Massage, where she began her apprenticeship as a Middleway Method Practitioner. She continues her education in bodywork, having completed over 300 CE hours in various modalities, including Orthopedic Massage, Orthobionomy, Visionary Craniosacral Work, Zero Balancing and Reiki. Jenny has been practicing Meditation and Yoga for over 22 years and they continue to be a major part of her life. In 2016, completed the Power of Awareness course through Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, taught by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. In 2013, she completed the Healthy Children’s Center for Breastfeeding Lactation Counsellor Certification program and shortly thereafter became a Certified Birth Doula through DONA International. She is also the chair and co-founder of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan Lactation Coalition, UPMILC, striving to promote, protect and support breastfeeding in the U.P. In 2016, Jenny founded the Full Moon Doulas, a collective of birth doulas, coming together to support and empower childbearing women and their families. Jenny is completing a Masters of Science in Mind-Body Medicine from Saybrook University and will be entering the PhD Mind-Body Medicine program in August, 2019. Her graduate work is geared towards incorporating Mindfulness and Compassionate Care Training Programs into health care and education.

This class is designed to help you access your inner peace and find calm within.
